This month, we celebrate Der Vang’s achievement of HealthCare Rock Star of the Month for her consistent outstanding hard work.
Der is one of the very first CNAs that joined Recruitment Alley and has proved her loyalty and dedication.
She has been with Recruitment Alley for 2 years now, Not only has she shown her dedication to the company, but to her role as a CNA as well.
Der always knew she’d be working in healthcare. Since she was in 5th grade, she told her mother she was going to be a caretaker when she was older and take care of her.
She has been a CNA for 8 years and does not plan to stop any time soon.
Her biggest advice to new people joining the healthcare industry is to “KEEP GOING and NEVER STOP.”
She states that many people come into the industry for such as short period of time and don’t have the correct motivation to stay.
She says her family, especially her kids bring her the biggest motivation to keep doing what she is doing. The thought of one day giving them the home that they want is what keeps her working hard.
The care she provides to her residents is shown as she mentions that she gives the same treatment to her residents that she would to her family members.
She also how she enjoys spending time with them because of all the stories they tell her.
